Weddings
-
Visit the wedding experience page to view my package prices and inclusions, and from there you can submit an enquiry to check availability of your wedding date.
-
Most of my brides book me about 18 to 24 months in advance for Friday/Saturdays weddings, or 6 to 12 months in advance if their weddings fall on Monday to Thursday.
-
Absolutely!
Your booking fee secures me for your wedding date, which means I’ll block the entire day out for you, and everything else (such as the final number of people in your booking) will be finalised 6 weeks before your wedding.
-
I recommend within about 3 months of your wedding.
If you can, try and do your makeup trial on the same day as your hair trial, and a tan trial 1-2 days before.
You could schedule your trial for your hen’s or engagement party, or your engagement shoot, but please bear in mind my Friday and Saturdays are usually booked out with weddings.
-
You are more than welcome to, but please be aware that I do not hold your wedding date without a booking fee, so your date could become booked out before you’ve had a trial and had a chance to make a decision.
Please check out my work, Instagram and Google reviews to see if I am the right fit for you.
-
Absolutely!
I am based in Toowoomba, and I charge a per hour travel fee (to and from your location), and if required, I also charge for accommodation and meals for the night before.
Depending where you’re located, other charges may apply, like flights and hire car.
-
My bookings are capped at a maximum of 7 people in metro areas - this allows me to take care of myself so I can ensure I am delivering the highest standard of makeup.
In rural/regional areas, I am happy to discuss the option of larger booking numbers. In this instance, I will normally need to allow time for a break, so please understand that this could mean quite an early start time for you.
-
I allow 50 minutes per person, and all makeup will be completed 1.5 to 2 hours before your first look or ceremony (whichever comes first).
-
I give the same amount of time, attention and skill to every makeup look, so my makeup price is the same for any makeup look.
-
At your makeup trial, I allow about half an hour for us to sit down and chat through all the details of your wedding - your vendors, your timeline, your dress, styling, florals, dress code - and answer any queastions you might have about the day.
From there, I allow about 1 hour for your makeup application.
At the end, I take photos of your finished look., and ask for your first impression of the makeup; then I leave it with you for the rest of the day to critique on your own and see how it wears.
You then send me your final unfiltered thoughts, and I put these with the photos I’ve taken to then craft your final wedding day makeup look.
Your trial is included in your wedding makeup package - trials for bridesmaids, mums, etc. can be booked and paid for separately.
-
Absolutely! You can just book and pay for these separately via my online bookings.
-
Trials are held at my studio in Toowoomba.
-
No - if you choose not to have a trial, we will instead need to allow extra time on the day of your wedding to consult and make adjustments, so the cost of your trial covers either the time spent at a trial, or time spent on the day.
Formals
-
The time doesn’t matter, as long as you allow:
1 hour for makeup
30 minutes to travel between hair and makeup appointments
1 hour for hair
30 minutes to get home and get dressed
-
I allow 1 hour.
-
If you’re having your hair washed at the salon (eg for a blowdry), then have your hair done first. Otherwise, it doesn’t matter.
-
Definitely! Not only will we be able to ensure the look you want suits you, we’ll also be able to save time on the day of your formal, because we won’t need to do a consultation about your makeup look.
-
Absolutely - you can see my pricing and make a booking via my mobile makeup page.

Stop using retinoids
The night before

Don’t apply any other serums (eg. vitamin C, niacinamide, retinoids)
Apply a rich moisturiser
Apply a lip balm (if you usually use lip balm)
The day of:
Cleanse your face using a gentle cream cleanser with a warm washer, or just use the washer on its own
Apply hyaluronic acid (again, skip if you don’t normally use it)
Don’t apply any other serums (eg. vitamin C, niacinamide, retinoids)
Apply moisturiser (preferably one that doesn’t contain SPF)
Apply lip balm (if you normally use lip balm)
Don’t apply any other products (including, SPF, BB cream, mascara, self tan, or any other makeup or skincare products)
-
Individual false lashes are always included, but I’ll ask you on the day whether or not you’d like them.
-
Absolutely everything is provided by me, but if you have a lipstick you’d like to wear, please feel free to bring it with you.
-
Please wear something strappy or strapless so I can see your decolletage and forearms - this will allow me to get the best foundation colour match and make sure your makeup belnds beautifully.
-
Absolutely. I will ask you on the day about your allergies - please disclose these to me honestly and in full (don’t withhold anything because you think it’s not in any makeup products).
I’ve curated my kit over many years to accommodate all allergies, but if you’re feeling unsure, please mention your allergies in the booking notes when you book online.
If you’re generally sensitive, I would suggest taking an antihistamine before your makeup appointment.
Makeup lessons
-
I offer 1:1 makeup lessons for everyday people of any skill/experience level, and I love taking the overwhelm out of doing your own makeup - you’d be surprised how easy it actually is.
-
No, I’m not the best artist for the job. My makeup looks are always tailored to the individual, which means I don’t have a ‘signature look’ that I can teach other people to recreate.
I do however offer business coaching for professionals and aspiring artists - feel free to reach out to me so we can talk about what might work for you.
-
No - every person’s preferences and facial features are unique, and I choose to offer 1:1 lessons that are unique to the individual. Group makeup lessons dilute what I’m teaching you, and leave you with only general tips that might not be best suited for you.
-
Please bring your skincare, makeup and brushes. You’ll also have access to all of my products on the day, but I want to help you use what you have first.
